Presidents September Letter:

It’s an honor to be the next President of Incliners. It is a wonderful group of people, and I'm looking forward to great events and good times in the year ahead.  I’m so lucky to be able to work with our new 2023-24 Incliners’ Board.  Let me introduce them here:  Kristie Wells -- Vice President; Barb Ortiz -- Member at Large; Robin Beres -- Secretary; Kim Montgomery -- Treasurer; Jim Beres -- Membership and Website Coordinator; Sheri Best -- Reservations Coordinator; Bibiana Beardsley -- Social Coordinator; Michael Zurcher -- Past President; Shirley Appel -- Decorating Coordinator; and Jennifer Moore -- IVGID Representative.

We had about 200 attendees for the Not-So-Hot August Nights event.  A huge THANK YOU goes out to Barry Bale for organizing the car show, to all the owners who put their hot rods on display, and to the volunteers who helped the whole thing go.  Congratulations to the category winners:

Best of Show – Jim Nowlin, 1930 Model A Woodie

Best Engine – Christopher Mazelin, 2022 BMW M5CS

Classic – 1st place – Ron Pizer, 1967 Sunbeam Tiger

Classic – 2nd place – Bill Kahrs, 1965 Ford Mustang

Sports – 1st place – Bart Thielen, Jaguar F-type SVR

Sports – 2nd place – Lowell Matthews, 1999 Acura NSX

We have two great events coming up in September.  Join us for a morning mixer at Happy Tiers Bakery on Tuesday, September 5, from 8:00 am – 9:30 am. They have crazy good pastries and a lot of comfy seating. We hope to see you there! Location:  868 Tahoe Blvd #21, Incline Village (in Christmas Tree Village).

Then, on September 19 Gordon Morse, Bernie Trujillo, and their crew have again volunteered to prepare their renowned Oktoberfest Dinner.  This event will be held at ASPEN GROVE, and we have to limit it to the first 120 people who sign up.  That night, we’ll also be honoring our past Presidents and the 2022-23 Board members.  This is our annual opportunity to thank our past Incliners’ Presidents and Board members for their service while enjoying a great German-inspired feast. To see the menu, register, and pay for this event please CLICK HERE. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.
